It’s a great time to be a Coyote at CHMS!  Our innovative, compassionate, excited, and committed teachers and staff are working hard to make our school great.  Our PTSA has an established working relationship with them and together we have a strong partnership, helping our school to have a great community connection.

Our PTSA is very supportive and involved in many different ways at our school.  For example, we sponsor fun events such as the annual Fall Fest & Family Bingo Night, Honor Roll Celebration, and Red Ribbon Week; we help fund Staff Appreciation, Eighth Grade Promotion, General Meetings, extra books for our library, and school beautification projects. (Check out the new tile mosaic mural of our school logo located in the courtyard. It was made by some our students, families, and staff along with a local artist); we support technology, curriculum, our very own Makers Space, and so much more!  We are made up of parents, just like you, who have a vested interest in our kids and our school.  We all want to make our school community the best it can be and we need parents, like you, to help us.  If you are interested in more information or would like to become involved, please contact me at    Your monetary donations and donations of your time are always greatly appreciated.  Volunteers are not paid……..because they are priceless!

Best Wishes,

Melinda Lintner

CHMS PTSA President

“Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy.

You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer,

you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in”.

*It is the oldest and largest volunteer association in the world that works for the welfare of children and youth in home, school, and community.

*In California alone, we have approximately one million PTA/PTSA members.

*We work for every child, with one voice, encouraging communication and cooperation between parents and school to ensure that children and youth receive the best possible physical, mental, and social education.

*The PTA develops educational programs for parents, teachers, students, and the general public while fostering leadership skills in both adults and students.  Our volunteers are leaders and advocates for our school and community.

Don’t delay. Please join today!  Click here for a membership form.  Students who join and attend PTSA General Meetings get extra credit and one free homework pass in Social Studies!
