Dear Parents,

The end of the school year is upon us.  Your students have worked hard and now it is time to start preparing to turn in school materials.  In order to save time during the check-in process, I am asking for your assistance.

  • Chromebooks should be thoroughly but gently cleaned on the outer top, sides, and bottom with a lightly moistened soft cloth (water only).
  • The inside screen should also be wiped clean.
  • You can use a lightly moistened Q-tip to clean the keyboard.
  • Do not spray any liquid directly onto the device.
  • Please make sure all the keys are attached.  Chromebooks will be inspected upon return.  Students/parents may be charged damage fines for any missing or broken keys, parts, or components.  If there are any problems, please write them on a sticky note and attach it to the inside screen.
  • Rewind the two charger cables neatly and then loop them together with the attached cable strap.  Loop cables tightly with the velcro closure strap, while not obscuring the library barcode for ease of check-in.

Thank you for your assistance.  I look forward to a smooth transition.  Enjoy your summer!

Ms. Teresa Timm
