2020-2021 Course Information


Elective selection for all grades will now be done online this year and is due by April 17, 2020. Please refer to your grade specific link below for detailed information.

Current 6th/7th grade students: 7th/8th Grade Online Elective Selection Process

Current 5th grade students: Incoming 6th Grade Online Elective Selection Process (Please complete the Incoming 6th Grade Online Elective Request Form/Application even if you have already submitted them to your 5th grade teacher. We do not have access to that paperwork).

Independent Study PE

ISPE qualifications include (see application packet for a more detailed explanation):

  • Participant must compete in an individual sport at a regional, state, or national level
  • Proof of participation in at least 3 competitions at that level in the last 6 months
  • Participant must spend a minimum of 200 minutes per week in the ISPE sport

Math Level Comparisons 

English Level Comparisons

Letters will be emailed to parents/guardians in May about your child's Math and English placement based on the above criteria.

If your child does not meet the district criteria and you would still like them to take a higher level course, you may submit a waiver. *Please note: if a student is in grade level Math 7, they may NOT waive into Algebra.
