memorial day assembly

Our Memorial Day Assembly is occurring on Friday, May 24th at 1:45 pm.  This is a solemn yearly assembly that gives our community a chance to pay homage to those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice through their military service.  The assembly will conclude with the landing of two helicopters on our field, an AH-1Z Viper and a UH-1Y Venom.  We encourage any member of our CHMS Family who are active or retired military to attend.  Please respond to this email if you are interested in attending. We would love to honor your service.  On the 24th, please check into the front office before the assembly.

After School Tutoring

CHMS will be officially starting after school tutoring available to all students after school on Monday, October 8th.  Tutoring will be held every Monday and Tuesday after school from 2:55-3:55 in room 207. There will be two credentialed teachers in attendance each day allowing them to form small groups to focus on specific student needs.  Tutoring is offered free of charge for students that feel like they will benefit, however, we ask that you let us know if you plan on attending by using this Google Form.  The form explains student expectation for tutoring and our commitment to supporting our students.  Please note that Tutoring will not be held the week of October 22nd as it is Parent/Teacher conference week and we will be on early release all week.
