February 26, 2019: CHM staff visits CHE for school presentation

February 27, 2019: CHM staff visits Hope for school presentation

February 28, 2019, 6-7pm: Incoming 6th grade parent meeting

Math Placement Information for Incoming 6th Grade Students

Click here for district criteria for Math 6 Advanced.

Letters will be sent home the week of May 28th about your child's Math placement for next year based on the above criteria. If your child did not qualify for Math 6 Advanced and you would like them to be in that class, please submit the math waiver to the CHMS office by June 7th to ensure placement.

Incoming 6th Grade Parent Informational Meeting

CHMS will host an informational meeting for parents of incoming 6th grade students on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 6:00-7:00.

Incoming 6th Grade Parent Tours

CHMS will be hosting a tour for parents of 6th grade incoming students on several dates. If you are interested in a tour of the school, please RSVP below as space is limited (RSVP links coming soon).

Incoming 6th Grade Student Tour

CHMS will be hosting a Student Tour for incoming 6th grade student on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 8:00-11:45 am in the CHMS gym.  Students will have an opportunity to purchase lunch at CHMS cafeteria or they can bring a sack lunch.  All 5th graders from Hope and Calavera Hills Elementary will be joining us.  NO NEED TO RSVP!

Independent Study Physical Education (ISPE)

ISPE qualifications include (see application packet for a more detailed explanation):

  • Participant must compete in an individual sport at a regional, state, or national level
  • Proof of participation in at least 3 competitions at that level in the last 6 months
  • Participant must spend a minimum of 200 minutes per week in the ISPE sport
