Where to Find FREE eBooks

                                                        Broken Chromebook

Please see the list below for places to find a great eBook for FREE.

Just be aware that some sites may require you to download an app first. If this is the case, you will need to use your own personal device (smart phone, tablet, or computer) because you are NOT allowed to download apps to your school Chromebook.

Where to BUY eBooks

Below is a list of where you can find some free, discounted, or regularly priced eBooks for sale.

Local Public Libraries

                                                                Library House

Our wonderful local libraries are open for curbside pick up of books or limited in-person browsing.  All of them offer 24/7 online access to their digital collections.

No card, no problem!  Right now some of the public library systems in our area are offering digital library cards that only require filling out a quick online form (with your parent’s permission).  After filling out the form you can then access thousands of online resources, including countless eBooks!

*Because you are under 18 years old, you will need permission from your parent or guardian to get registered*

 California Young Reader Medal Contest

Every year students across the state get to decide the winner of this prestigious medal--not parents, teachers, or librarians--just YOU!

Read all 3 books in the Middle School category for a chance to vote for the winner of the California Young Reader Medal.  Books are available through our school library or you can download the eBook on Sora.  Please check out the How Do I? section above for instructions on how to search for books and check them out.

For more information on each of this year's nominated titles, click on the pictures of the book covers below.

Happy Reading!
