After School Tutoring

CHMS will be officially starting after school tutoring available to all students after school on Monday, October 8th.  Tutoring will be held every Monday and Tuesday after school from 2:55-3:55 in room 207. There will be two credentialed teachers in attendance each day allowing them to form small groups to focus on specific student needs.  Tutoring is offered free of charge for students that feel like they will benefit, however, we ask that you let us know if you plan on attending by using this Google Form.  The form explains student expectation for tutoring and our commitment to supporting our students.  Please note that Tutoring will not be held the week of October 22nd as it is Parent/Teacher conference week and we will be on early release all week.

Students: Would you like to perform at a Coyote Community Assembly?

Do you play an instrument? Do you sing? Have an awesome secret talent? Well then, you'd probably love to perform during Coyote Community! We will have four dates where a few groups of students can show off how amazing they are! Please fill out this Google Form and follow all of the directions on it. We will get back to you ASAP with information about when you will perform.

As always, please reach out if you have any questions or concerns,

"STAR" Program

Hi Families!  Help us let our teachers and CHMS Staff know how VERY SPECIAL they are...our school has an amazing program called “STAR”, where a family volunteers to surprise a teacher/staff once per month with a SMALL gift-just something to brighten his/her day.  We will supply you with a list of his/her “likes” and “interests”, you supply the surprise.  If you are interested in this moral boosting opportunity, please email Debbie Mendels at halfshore@aol.com for more information. Thank you!

Parking Lot Safety

Student safety is our number one priority at CHMS.  As a driver, please be aware of the safety of others.  This includes in our parking lot and surrounding areas.  Please respect posted parking signs, bike lanes, driveways, and all traffic laws.

Students, please be responsible for your own safety and only cross in designated cross walks and watch for cars.

Together, we can make our neighborhood a safer place.
